Students who are undecided on a major are encouraged to explore fields of study using our ACT Discover career assessment.  It is designed to assist students in determining the occupations and college majors that line up with their interests, work values, skills, and abilities. It also provides information on interviewing skills, resume writing, career decision-making, job hunting, college search, and succeeding at work.  To request a token, email twetendorf@odessa.edu.

Career Services also maintains a job bank of both part-time and full-time employment. Information on local, state and national job openings are available.

This Learning Style Interpretive Report will help you understand the Learning Style model by Dunn, Dunn, & Price & explain the different preferences on your profile. From research, we know that people prefer to work and learn differently from one another. Once you identify your preferences, you can be more productive and learn more easily and successfully.

This is a career assessment. Successful completion of the assessment will generate a report that will provide you with important information about your personal characteristics. You will learn about careers that are matched to you, your personal strengths and blindspots, how you negotiate in your daily life, and a host of other useful information.
